Navigate Your Professional and Personal Transition

at MEA’s Rising Circle Ranch in Santa Fe

Sep 5 - Sep 8, 2025 Santa Fe, USA
Led by: Former EY PPMDs Mike Kanazawa, Jeff Stier, and Chip Conley

Embrace your next chapter with clarity, confidence, and purpose

Now that you've stepped into retirement after your years with EY, how do you reconnect with who you are – beyond the roles, responsibilities, and rhythms that once defined your days?

And how do you begin to shape a life for you and your spouse or life partner that feels not just accomplished, but deeply fulfilling, intentional, exciting, and joyful?

Retirement offers you a rare and meaningful opportunity to pause, reflect, and reimagine what’s next – whether that means pursuing new passions, exploring purposeful work, or simply redefining success on your own terms.

Join MEA founder and bestselling author Chip Conley and a team of former EY partners, principals, and managing directors for a transformative three-day experience at Rising Circle Ranch in the high desert of Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Surrounded by natural beauty and a like-minded community, you will gain powerful tools to rediscover purpose, design your next chapter together, and embrace this new season of life with clarity, curiosity, and courage.

Designed and facilitated by former EY PPMDs.

This MEA program complements EY’s Future Directions and other transition programs and bridges professional transition with personal renewal by offering you space to reflect, reframe, and design your next chapter with intention and insight –  all on a spectacular 5,000-acre ranch in Santa Fe.

Here's what you’ll gain

  • Rediscover Who You Are Beyond EY: Reconnect with your Authentic You™ in a supportive, stunning environment designed for introspection and reinvention.
  • Design a Future You’re Excited About: Create a clear vision and plan for your next chapter – whether it includes a new focus at the firm, board service, creative pursuits, entrepreneurship, or more time with those you love.
  • Experience Awe and Clarity in the High Desert: From stargazing with inspired storytelling to guided nature walks and fireside conversations, tap into a sense of wonder that inspires big thinking and lasting change.
  • Explore Your Purpose, Not Just Your Plans: Move beyond what’s next to why it matters. Craft a personal purpose statement and identify the roles that will bring your life deeper meaning after EY.
  • Fuel Your Growth with Curated Experiences: Every detail—from gourmet meals to immersive ranch activities—is designed to support cognitive agility, creativity, and well-being during this important life pivot.
  • Turn Postponed Dreams Into Your New Reality: Reignite passions and ambitions left on hold during your corporate journey, and explore how to bring them back to life with structure and intention.

Plus, you'll get to do this powerful work with a cohort of thoughtful PPMDs and EDs from EY who are navigating similar transitions. The trusted relationships you'll form will support and inspire you for years to come.

Brought to you in partnership with MEA, which has been heralded by The New York Times as the “world’s first midlife wisdom school." MEA's science-backed curriculum was created in collaboration with experts from Stanford, Harvard, UC Berkeley, and Yale, and offers proven tools, practices, and support to help you navigate transitions and thrive in the second half of life.

Equine Experience Exclusive to Santa Fe Workshops

Discover profound insights and personal breakthroughs through Equine Assisted Learning—an immersive, non-riding experience where horses help you uncover your true self.

Guided by our MEA facilitators—trained by Kelly Wendorf, creator of EQUUS®, an award-winning equine-assisted learning program—these sessions provide a powerful opportunity for self-discovery. As a millennia-old prey species, horses possess extraordinary sensitivity, allowing them to reflect our hidden qualities and reveal the truth beneath the narratives we create about ourselves.

It’s a valuable enhancement to your workshop experience that will make you feel more profoundly connected to yourself and to the world around you.

Are you ready to explore what's truly possible in your next chapter?

People come for the workshops,
but they stay for the community

This is truly MEA’s “secret sauce” and something you can only experience in person: the powerful connections you will make, not only with your fellow participants and the incredible MEA faculty, but also the deeper sense of connection you will feel to your own inner self and the natural world around you.

Research into aging shows that your relationships play a HUGE role in your health and wellbeing later in life. At MEA, you will make deep and lasting connections and become part of a larger community that will make your life richer and more meaningful.

Many of our alumni cohorts have stayed in close touch for years after their workshop and we have a growing number of local alumni chapters all over the world. It’s a joy for us to see them continuing to offer each other community, friendship, and support as they create thriving midlives for themselves. So if you have been feeling at all disconnected or isolated on your journey, we would love to have you join us!
